Living in a small space doesn’t mean sacrificing style or functionality—it just takes a little creativity! 🌟 Whether you're in a tiny apartment, a dorm room, or a cozy home, making the most of every square inch is key.🔑

Here are 5 of my top storage and organization tips when living in a small space!!👇🥰

Vertical Shelving⬆️⬇️

Utilize vertical wall space with tall bookcases or floating shelves to not take up precious floor space!!🤩 Bonus points if they are adjustable so you can always customize the height to however you need it without buying new ones.🆕

When organizing these items, make sure to prioritize items with the most used ones being the most accessible while other items can go higher or lower!📚

Under Bed Storage🛏️

Underneath your bed is perfect for storing out-of-season clothing, extra linen, travel suitcases, gift wrapping supplies, etc.!!🧳

Remember to use containers, bins, or organizers to keep items tidy and prevent dust accumulation. Also, consider using risers to lift the bed higher if needed to accommodate larger items! 🛏️

Multifunctional/Foldable Furniture🪑

The key to small space living is finding furniture that is multifunctional and/or easy to store things in! Think sofa beds, convertible coffee tables, wall mounted desks, nesting tables, etc.🛋️

Anything that can serve two purposes like your coffee table doubling as a game table and a dining table!🥣👾 Or things that are easy to store when not using like a wall mounted desk that swings down against the wall so to not take up space if you don't need to!!🥰

Pegboards in Kitchen

If you don't have a lot of cabinet space in your kitchen, this ones for you!! Pick a wall to install your pegboard on and measure the space to ensure you find one that fits!🧩

You can install pegboards with screws and/or anchors; just make sure it is level and firmly attached to support the weight of your pots, utensils, etc.🍴 You can find a variety of hooks, pegs, and shelves to accommodate all of your kitchen tools and display everything to your liking! You can even paint it and decorate/customize it to your liking for a beautiful, functional look!🤩

Utilize Door Space

Utilize that door space with hanging racks on the inside or outside!! You can find hooks to hang over the door to hold coats, purses, keys, etc. for a quick grab and go.🔑

You can also use hanging organizers on the back of doors to hold your shoes, cleaning supplies or any other tools/accessories!!🚪The options are endless!!🥳
