Ingredients

3 Lemons🍋

2 Oranges🍊

2 Bunches of Fresh Mint🍵

1 Bunch of Rosemary🌿

Pinch of Sea Salt🧂

Assembly

  1. Prepare Your Pot: Begin by placing a large pot on your stove top. A medium-sized saucepan or a large stockpot works well for this purpose!🫕

  2. Add Water: Fill the pot with 4-8 cups of water, depending on the size of your pot and how long you plan to simmer!!⏱️ Ensure there’s enough water to cover all the ingredients and allow for evaporation over time.💧

  3. Cut Up Fruits and Vegetables: Take your chosen fruits and/or vegetables—lemons & oranges for this recipe!🍋🍊 Slice them into thin pieces to release their natural oils and scents.🔪

  4. Add All Ingredients: Carefully place all the cut fruits and herbs/spices into the pot!!🥘 It doesn't matter what order!

  5. Bring to a Simmer: Turn on the stove to medium heat and bring the pot to a simmer🔥. Once it starts simmering, reduce the heat to low.🌡️ Allow the pot to simmer gently, releasing its fresh, invigorating aroma throughout your home.🥰

  6. Maintain the Simmer: As the water evaporates, add more water to the pot!💧 This will ensure that the ingredients continue to release their scents and prevent the pot from drying out. You can keep the simmer pot going for several hours each day!! ⏳ However, NEVER leave the house with a simmer pot going‼️

  7. Reuse and Refresh: You can reuse the simmer pot mixture for a few days!!🗓️ Simply add more water and bring it back to a simmer whenever you want to refresh the scent. After a few days, when the ingredients have lost their potency, dispose of the mixture and start fresh if desired.🤩
