HAVE YOU STARTED YOUR SPRING CLEANING YET??
Yes!! I'm on top of it!!😉
No, I don't know where to begin!!🫤
If the answer is a reluctant "no..", never fear!! That's what we are here to help you with, every step of the way!🥰
Spring cleaning can be a daunting task to even think about. I know all those questions running through you head💭:
"Where do I even start?"
"What if I'm forgetting something?"
"What products do I use??"
I totally get it. I've been there!!😅 That's why today I wanted to share some of my must-have spring cleaning products to help you get started!!😌
PLUS, check out our Spring Cleaning Guide for even more checklists, guides, and information🤩 More on this at the bottom!👇
Microfiber Towels
Microfiber towels are a STAPLE in my cleaning routine. I use these every single day to clean every surface in my home.🤩 From dusting shelves, to disinfecting countertops, to cleaning mirrors; microfiber cloths are my right hand man while I clean!🧼
There are two different kinds that I use, and recommend everyone have!:
Regular: These are just my run of the mill microfiber towels that I use on my countertops, stainless steel, appliances, tables, chairs, shelves, etc.!🪑 I use them to dust and disinfect! You can pretty much use these on anything and everything EXCEPT FOR...⬇️ Lint-Free: ....Mirrors and windows! That's where these lint-free microfiber towels come into play!😉 They prevent streaks, fuzz, marks, etc. on your shiney mirrors and windows!🪟🪞 They're not technically a necessity, but I highly recommend them for optimal results!!🥰

Scrub Brushes
For scrub brushes, I recommend having multiple different kinds depending on what you are cleaning and where!! For example, you don't want to take a tough scrub brush to stainless steel because it can actually damage it!!❌ Here's the full ins and outs of which scrub brush to use and when🥰:
Soft: I primarily use these soft scrub brushes for most things!😍 They are great because you can scrub off grime in your sink, shower/tub, filters, dishes, stovetop, etc. without worrying about scratching or damaging any of the material😅
Tough: The tough scrub brushes are the ones I use for harder material where you have to potentially use some force to clean🏋️. Things like grout, tile, outdoor furniture, grills, inside the oven, etc.!!🥰
Just ensure, you are never using these tough scrub brushes on anything that can get scratched or damaged easily like stainless steel and porcelain‼️
Mini: I use these mini scrub brushes (however, a toothbrush can work as well!🪥) for smaller cracks and crevices I need to get into and clean!! These come in handy so much more than I would have thought🫣. I use them almost every time I am scrubbing an item or area down!🤩
Duster
Dusting before disinfecting is always a crucial step in the cleaning process!!😌 You can use a microfiber towel to dust, but for some materials and areas, other dusting options may be easier and faster!! My favorite dusting gadgets below👇:
Dusting Gloves: Dusting gloves are amazing for dusting oddly shaped decor, knick-knacks, fake plants, etc.!!🪴 Just slide them on, and run your hands along the surfaces to pick up all the dust🧤
Dusting Sponge: These dusting sponges have been a more recent discover that have quickly become one of my favorites!!🤩 Just get them slightly damp, and run them along tables, desks, baseboards, door frames, etc. to pick EVERYTHING up (without scattering dust all around the room!!). But the best part is whenever you're done or it won't pick up any more dust, just rinse it all off in the sink, squeeze the water out and it's ready to go again!🥳
Extendable Duster: This extendable duster reaches up to 20 FT and comes with multiple attachments, so you can EASILY dust ceiling fans, tall arches, vents, ceilings, etc.! No need to get that ladder out or do a blancing act on furniture anymore😉
Vacuum
And then, of course, I had to discuss vacuums!!😉 There's wet/dry vacuums that mop and vacuum simultaneously, hand-held vacuums, vacuums specifically designed to deal with long pet hair, etc. etc. etc.😅 Vacuums come in all shapes and sizes🔶. Depending on a person's need, one person's perfect vacuum may be a no-go for another person!🫢
For a full, in-depth summary of some of my favorites, check out this blog!!✨
Mop
Similar to vacuums, there are also many different mops on the market. It can be confusing to know which one to get!!😵💫 However, my favorite for many years now is the O-Cedar Mop!! 🤩
The EasyWring system allows you to effortlessly wring out your mop head so you aren't sloshing a bunch of water on the floor (which can actually damage your floors!) and turning your living room into a swamp😅 PLUS, the RinseClean system allows you to keep the dirty water and fresh water/cleaning solution separate so you are only ever putting clean water on your floor!🤩 Between these two things, and the fact that you can easily change out the mop head whenever you'd like, make it the easy winner for me!🥰
And these are just the basics of my favorite spring cleaning supplies!!😍 To find everything else I use, check our our brand new Spring Cleaning Guide for the full product list; including, extra machines I use and all of my go-to cleaning solutions!!🫧
But it doesn't just have products, we have huge, in-depth checklists for each room, a 6-week spring cleaning calendar, pro tips, and more on there!!🤯 If you are still having doubts, questions and concerns about spring cleaning, this guide will help answer them all!😉
